Returns and Exchanges

RETURNS
If within 30 day and for any reason, you do not feel that your purchase has lived up to your expectations simply return it for an exchange or a full refund. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If a refund is approved, it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain amount of days.

Any returned item not in its original condition, that is damaged or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error may be subject to a partial refund or repair. Items damaged beyond repair for reasons not due to our error will be returned to you with no refund.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at 1-610-566-1394 or send an email to refunds@shadyhillclayworks.com indicating that you have not received your refund. We will investigate the late or missing refund and provide you with additional information.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES
Due to the unique design of our items, we may not be able to offer an exchange of an identical item. The following exchange options are available:

  • When exchanging for a similar item at the same price, we will send you a new item upon receipt of the original item.
  • When exchanging for a similar item at a lower price, we will issue a credit to your credit card or original method of payment for the price difference and send you the new item.
  • When exchanging for a similar item at a higher price, depending on the price difference, we may send you the new item at no additional cost. If the cost difference is significant, we will issue a credit to your credit card or original method of payment for the full original price. You will then need to submit a new order for the higher-priced replacement item.

If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us at 1-610-566-1394 or send an email to exchanges@shadyhillclayworks.com. If you email us, please let us know what item you'd like to return and what item you would like to receive. We will review your request and contact you to confirm exchange details.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Wearable Clayworks
For earrings, necklaces, pins and jewelry sets, we may be able to replace a defective or damaged item with a duplicate item. Because of the unique nature of these items, there may be additional time needed to create the replacement item. Please contact us at 1-610-566-1394 to discuss options or send an email to refunds@shadyhillclayworks.com. If you email us, please let us know if you would like a duplicate item. We will review your request and contact you regarding options and timeframes.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you may exchange the gift for any item at the same price of the original purchase. We will send you the new item upon receipt of the original gift.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
